Hi there, I tried embedding a test animation I made (account suzievesper) into my EduBlogs blog (which is based on Wordpress) and the dog kept on howling forever without the video ever playing.

Try reinserting your code it does not seem to have a link to your video.

Hey Suzievesper,
Blogs based on Wordpress do not allow embedding videos. The code that you pasted got trimmed when you saved your post. Only embedding from certain sites (like YouTube) can work as a result on EduBlogs. We are working on our side to contact Wordpress and see if there is a way to enable that in the future, but for now nothing much we can do. We will keep you posted if we find any way around this.

Hi Giacomail,
We haven't actually tested our embed code in Joomla. I think you may need to use a special component in your CMS to enable embedding videos and things like that. Could you provide the URL of your website? Can you embed other videos from say YouTube in your Joomla installation?

no problem with all video providers supported , but goanimate embed code don’t work (sig sig ..)

Hi Giacomail,
I am not really sure how this Joomla plug-in works, I will get out tech guys to take a look.
Our player is actually much more complex than the ones on other video sites. Our animations are not just one big files, the animation is actually rendered as it is played. I see that AllVideo supports most video sites, but we are a bit different. We are working on ways we could solve this kind of issues, but on your side isn't there any add-ons in Joomla that allow you to just copy paste our embed code on a page without using a player?

Bingo ! disable WYSIWYG editor ( joomla global config)  , copy & paste embed original code and goamimate  works OK !

True that this WYSIYG editor in Joomla is so annoying...
