First of all, is the music in the form of an mp3 file and is it below the 8mb limit?
Assuming it is...
After you click on the IMPORT button, select" sounds", then" browse your computer".
Are you able to get that far?
Find the file you want and click "open" in the browse window, then click "upload" in the IMPORT window. Then wait while the file is uploaded. Takes 10-20 seconds, then the word "success" will appear.
Where do things go wrong for you?
To see what the filetype is, right click on the filename and choose "properties" from the popup.
If it's not an mp3 then you can't use it. If you got it off a CD, then you can rip the CD again with WindowsMediaPlayer, this time using the mp3 option instead of the wma option.
Put the CD back in the computer. Open WindowsMediaPlayer to play it.
Click on "settings"
Change the filetype from wma to mp3
Set the "quality" near the middle to high but not maximum
Select the tracks you want to rip
Click on "rip"
When it's done the mp3's will be in a folder named after the artist or called "unknown artist"
FST is here to save the day! Not the first time.
