I have noticed that some animators who do not have Goplus seem to have lots of comments and views on an animation they released in a period of less than a week. How do they do it?Do they message every single fan they have?Do I need a catchy name?Rockhopper was all I could come up with at the moment!!!!!
They might have a lot of friends on a different site as well as Goanimate. And then if the animation is any good those friends might share with other friends and then the same might happen again and again.
I think a lot of them send a message to all of their fans or at least most of them when they have released a new animation =)
I think it's a advantage of not having Goplus. You can't send a broadcast a message. (you can do that on Goplus i think as well but..)
I think if you send each and every one of your fans (or most) a personal message which you have put some effort in(by including their name writing a relevant subject and maybe complement them on one of their videos), they will more likely watch your video than the message that has been broadcasted. They will appreciate the time it took for you to write it out just for them.
Also try and send messages to some popular animators as they will have "followers" who may go to a video they may have commented on as such. This will bring in more views quickly as there will be a rush of people see what this animation was about.
Hope you can understand it through all the grammar mistakes, it's atrocious :D
1.i make a lot of friends on this site and tel them when i make a video
2. i comment on the open fourm a lot to improve rep
3.i have an updates thread
4. i have some animators help me
@Rain tears anytime I comment on a thread nobody ever comments after me and the thread just dies,or they do comment after me but they act like my comment isn't there.
I really didn't want to comment after you. Somehow I felt it would be better to let the thread die. And even when I finally forced myself to do it, I had to fight another inner struggle not to ignore you. But then I was afraid that would reinforce your threadamortaphobia. And we've got to cure you of it before it eats you alive, consumes your soull, and destroys your mind.
I hearby challenge everyone! When you see a RockHopper comment, even though you KNOW that thread should now die, go ahead and post something anyway. When the roll is called up yonder you'll be glad you did.
@footsocktoe if your reading this, which I know you are.Because you came back to this thread.Your reading it right now.But you dont want to comment.Thats fine. But just look at my profile pic.Thats me,a RockHopper penguin. It looks really mad,or happy,or just has a big mouth,I'm not sure. But just remember...gipsy will always be awesome.Thank you.
Wait, if I have to remember gipsy will always be awesome... does that mean I won't be? I mean, like always? I know I'm good for NOW, but to lose always... That's kind of sad.
I know what I'll do. I'll stick close to gipsy and pick up some of the crumbs of his awesomeness. He drops them everywhere. :D

I actually sold one of his crumbs of awesomeness online for 678$. Just a few more and I'll be good on my bills and I'll have enough for Go+ :)
