Well, how I got here in the first place was because I was interested in Domo. I watched the YouTube vids, and subscribed, and I soon found out about Domo Nation. So I went there. On DomoAnimate, I saw the "Powered by GoAnimate" icon.  So on 25 May 2010, I joined GA. My experience has been very interesting. At first, believe it or not, I actually thought that etourist was part of the GA staff as well as other crazy thoughts like Section13 being a boy. But, like I said, I was new. I soon found out about Orange Head in the top animations. I went to CohenPlague's page and became a fan. Then I saw the "Add Friend" icon. So, I went ahead and clicked it, too. Soon, I was adding several friends. One of the most interesting is Thecreatorbot9000. We even made a joint account together. However, it's abandoned now. I later found out about ReddPlague, and the Plage group. It seemed interesting, so I joined. I later discovered kpunk because of a strange message on my page.I joined his club for a day or two, but then came back to the Plagues. Soon after I met you, CS4. And sometime when I had over 1,000 views, so I was getting popular, I got a new fan, but this one seemed neat. L&A studios. Liked the name and the pic, so I checked out his page. Now we're friends. I'm even currently working on something called S&A adventures. I'm pretty popular now in my thoughts.  1,357 views and going up. Still not really famous, I don't say someone's really famous if they have 10,000 views or up. Anyway, that's the best I can explain.

Probably one of the most interesting comment sections on a video I've ever read. I'd be happy to be part of the show at some point.

I wasn't even looking for animation software or doing anything to do with animation when I came across the site. But I looked through everything and it reminded me of my favorite animation software from years ago called 'Moviesetter'. The GoAnimate you see today is pretty much what Moviesetter was more than 15 years ago only on more powerful computers.

I started in April of 2010....

I came to GoAnimate because I wanted to put animated videos on youtube.When I found out you had to pay I almost quit. Luckily I didnt! I used to look up to a kid named Super Mario Fan. He is younger than me but I thought his videos were great. Now I have more views than him and I dont think he goes on GA anymore. My first character I bought was Mario. And the first animation I made was a stick person series that I discontinued. Then I started making my mario videos. There were doing pretty good so I kept makin em. Eventually I became friends with many users. They helped me get where I am now. I feel I have a achieved so much here on GA. My videos get a decent amount of views, Ive met alot of great people, and I became Animator Of The Month! This website is great and I dont know what I would do without it.

I started GA August 26 2008, wow! I remember that day when my uncle, a executive for USAA gave me the link to help in on a project. Since then I have fallen in love with GA (no homo :P ) Its a great site to make animations. Before GA I would search for hrs for freee EASY animation software and never found one. I gave up till I went to GA!!! Its a awesome website! Everybody here from the admins to the users are great! and the videos as well are really cool and interesting! Sometimes GA takes my life as it does get addictive sometimes. Ive gotten really creative in the media and arts since Ive used GA because I get more ideas like for example, my video, Who Wants To Be A Billionaire became a hit and now its becoming a movie! wow! Good Response here in GA!

Almost a year ago I was a kid...bored of all the "normal" things. When My friend showed me this website, I was hooked. It was worse than any drug in the world. The is no Cure for a Go!animate addiction. So I Started make animations (which were really really crappy) As a progressed, my animations started getting better and better (still pretty crappy). By Watching other animators Amazing animations, I gradually learned Go!animate Front to Back, Almost everything. Then, I got unaddicted, When I got Xbox Live. For Two Months I Totally forgot about goanimate. When My Xbox Live expired, I went back on and I did a Project for my drama class. That's when I got hooked again. When the Creating for a Cause contest was annouced, I thought I had no chance, but I wanted to promote my favorite charity, so I decided to do it anyway. At the end of the contest, The four top viewed animations went to the final round. Mine was in 5th only a few hundred behind 4th. From There I created my Revenge series ( The first episode was my second top animation.) Then the first ever( I think) Quickfire contest came out. It was for Memorial Day. I decided it was important, so I joined and I ended up winning, and I got my first staff pick. Then Section31 made a poem contest. As literature being one of my best subjects, and poetry being an inspiration to me, I decided to join, and I made She Wasn't Meant, which was an origanal poem by me, which was a top animation. I didn't win, but I wasn't disappointed. I had writers block for a while, but when the summerblock buster contest was announced I idea hit me right in the face. I created "The Transformation of the Hamster" It became a quick top animation, but it soon was sabotaged, by the unknown Sabotuer. Then with the help of my good friend Cohen he helped me make it a top animation once again, and that is where I sit right now. Go!Animate is a great site and I hope it grows and grows, because I know I will be on this site for a long time.

Goanimate in a sense is a global village where peoples user pages are like houses and in the houses are animations are doors to other fun worlds!
"I think if we're lucky I hope to see a Goanimate animation as a fully flegded cartoon on TV that would be great!"
Goanimate is a door and the key to opening the door is your imagination!

It started about a year ago, I searched on google "how to make an animation" and Go!Animate popped up. I had a look around the site and thought it was good. It was getting late so I thought Id join the next morning. By the next morning I had forgot about it. Back in May my friend said " Have you saw go!animate" and then I remembered so I ran in and joined it. from then I have made loads of friends on GOA and had loads of fun!
Can I just say thanks to Alvin and the mods.

I was in a Math class,the teacher was talking about the animating program Pivot,so he was in google searching about animating progrmas and find Goanimate.com,he show to all our class,all love the site and the experience of make yourself a video!so all make a channel and start to animate,almost all of the people in my class stop to use goanimate,because dont got views,but me and some friends stay,so i start to learn,and animate better wih other animators,and a lot of tutorials,so i start to make my series "Orange Head" in the beggining was a crap,hehe,but later i start to work more hard on the vids,now almost all my episodes have a lot of views!now im happy and going great here in Goanimate,meeting friends,and a lot of cool people!this year was my "big back",because i stay 6 months out of GA,but i got a good re-beginning here!at the moment i am with 12.000 views,and 271 fans!
