I got a bit distracted at the end because one the crew members has the blinking cat head that I made - seemed out of place and I don't recall seeing it anywhere else?

Anyhow... I think you handled the longer exposition much better in this episode, though it's still quite 'wordy' and drags a little in the more technical exchanges.

As Ro mentions you do have to watch the use of the Pan effect. The amount you used this, particularly on the Romulan bridge scene was starting to make me feel dizzy. Lot's of Pans, in the way you've used them, gives the effect of the movie being shot on a hand held camera - not necessarily what you want. Maybe part of the problem was not having the different camera angles for that set so you were trying to make it more visually exciting with Pans?

I really like how you incoporate video into this. It's almost seamless in how it mixes with the rest of the animation. Overall I do like this. You're definitely doing something a little different to everyone else and developing a unique style of your own. Your use of multiple views of the same set is really making your work seem more movie-like.

thanks ro i will most definately take that under advisement for episode three that will be shorter as the story is from my head not adapted from a comic, and i will try to make it look a bit cleaner, also try to shorten dialogue.

I agree...great cast.  And an interesting story as well.  You asked for a critique, so here it is...I found some scenes contained an excessive use of pans and zooms.  You'll notice in most tv and movie productions that the cut is the common effect to use in scenes of group dialog.  Sometimes, keeping it simple is the best route to take to give your animations a more polished look.  And you might want to pay a little closer attention when scaling the size of your characters.  The captain looks huge on the bridge compared to the other cast members.  I loved a lot of the sets and the opening was cool.  All in all, a stand out production.  Nicely done.
